Decorate and Repair Christmas Trees, Christmas Decorations and Christmas Lights.

Job Functions

  • Repair decorations,( designing is a plus) fix lights, install Christmas trees, ensure customer satisfaction and excellent quality of service.
  • Conduct a thorough inventory of the specific install job to make sure that all items in the boxes are in order, not damaged, and properly labeled.
  • Design and maintain Christmas tress and make seasonal changes as needed.
  • Develop new design and ideas for new Christmas trees.
  • Conduct ongoing inspections and repair of Christmas trees/ lights and work areas, including equipment and work vehicles.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure that it is in safe and proper working order
  • Make sure that the Christmas trees and other Christmas pieces are beautiful and attractive.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the Tropex clients.

Qualifications

  • Two years of craft, design, sewing, or textile experience, a plus
  • Valid Florida Drivers License.
  • Ability to exercise critical interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining working relations with staff, management, clients and maintain positive team environment.
  • Ability to drive vans and passenger vehicles.
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities that normally require physical effort including bending, crawling, stretching and lifting objects up to 50 pounds, climb ladders 6’ to 15’.
  • Long hours.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Prior experience in design, craft or textile industry.
  • Able to drive a 26’ truck.

  • Reaching frequently 1/3 to 2/3 of day
