Tropex, Florida’s leading plant leasing and maintenance company, is seeking a dedicated Plant Installer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about plants and eager to contribute to creating beautiful, green spaces. As a Plant Installer, you will be at the forefront of bringing our clients’ visions to life, ensuring that each plant and container is perfectly placed to enhance various environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with several crucial tasks, including:

  • Plant Preparation: Responsible for prepping plants prior to loading them onto the truck, ensuring they are in perfect condition for installation.
  • Loading and Transporting: Carefully load plants, containers, and supplies onto the truck, ensuring safe and secure transport to the job site.
  • Installation Excellence: Deliver and install plants at various sites as per specifications, making sure each plant is staged, mossed, watered, and trimmed of any dead foliage.
  • Quality Control: Check all relevant paperwork and materials before leaving for a job, ensuring everything necessary for the installation is loaded and in order.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with sales personnel and walk with the customer post-installation to ensure they are satisfied with the service.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Responsible for maintaining tools and supplies, ensuring safe installation practices, and keeping the vehicle in a clean and operational condition.

What We Require

  • Physical Fitness: The ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable with heights and using ladders.
  • Non-Smoker: A commitment to a smoke-free environment.
  • Clean Driving Record: A clean driving record in the State of Florida for at least 3 years.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency with a willingness to learn advanced skills.
